This study aims at gaining comprehensive understanding of service operations and its reference to the entirety of activities – directed by policies, organized and structured in processes and supporting procedures – that are performed at T1 of SVPI Airport. For the same, consumer flow movement till completion of first security check was scrutinized at site. Based on observations, with use of process mapping and management tools, inefficient trolley management and chaotic congregation of visitors at exterior of departure of T1 were identified as prime areas of concern. Proposals to solve the same, have been drafted as deliverables of this project.
