The aim of the “Housing Project Studio” is to explore the development opportunities in Ahmedabad and the decision-making process followed for development of real estate project. The studio helps in understanding the complexities on the development of greenfield sites. The first step was to identify the potential sites in Ahmedabad in terms of predominant land use, location, accessibility. The land potential analysis was carried out so as to define the possibility & requirement at the site. Depending on the location and the site potential, a micro market study was done to understand the demand and supply of the inventories. Various options were tried out so as to come up with the most probable product mix in the areas. Feasibility study of the finalised option was done followed by understanding the basic concepts of Cash flows, NPV, IRR
