Cleanliness of water bodies has been given a large amount of weightage in various national policies and guidelines. Unfortunately, this fact does not translate on ground in Vadodara. Most water bodies in the city are heavily polluted and the measures taken by ULB to rejuvenate them are not sufficient. The intervention focuses on dealing with this issue, by the help of  various technical and behavior change tools like awareness programs, forming CBOs, installing surveillance systems and channelizing the existing monitoring strategy of the sanitation squads.
