The streets in the informal settlements play an important role in the daily lives of the residents living there. The project deals with the local streets and alleys within the informal settlements situated at the foothill of Parvati Hill, analyzing the present use of spaces and issues related. Identifying the potential public spaces within the settlement and by upgrading the streets, many factors at different levels could be dealt like the increase in the safety after dusk, opportunities to spend more time on the street which in turn could increase the economic opportunities and improve the social relations within the residents
