Seemingly Saturated Ghatlodia

Ghatlodia is located on the west of Sabarmati River, just beyond the Green Belt. Introduction and releasing of Green Belt has a major effect on the development of the precinct. The precinct lies in a dense residential area with no major changes in last 20 years. The precinct seems saturated as due to dense residence, no further scope of development seems possible. The original residents are not ready to shift from smaller individual housing units to apartments. But if there is some change in typology, then major developments can be pulled towards the precinct, depending on many factors.
