The brown field areas of our city in the course of transformations are overlooked by the Urban Authority. As a result of which the density in areas increase due to improvements in transportation services and connectivity but lacks in terms of basic services and quality of life. Such brownfield areas of our cities needs to be re modelled according to the changing needs and demands. Adajan is one such area booming in real estate markets with an upcoming metro is assumed to attract a lot of population in it. These planning strategies are an attempt to identify issues and work upon the potentials of the place in order to improve the quality of life and ease life of people living in Adajan.
