This project was to develop an understanding of the inception of a Construction Project, for which a project proposed at Science City named Aquatics Gallery was studied. The Project- Aquatics Gallery has been undertaken by the Gujarat Council of Science City (GCSC) Society which is under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat. Studio 1 project focused on the conceptualization and development phase of the project. This included project site analysis, feasibility study, technical analysis including design brief and scope development, legal compliance to be adhered to, concept planning, Financial Analysis, Project Procurement Management, Benefit Cost analysis, Risk Management and Environmental Impact Assessment under conceptualization phase. Under development phase, project organisation structure, stakeholder management, bid process management and project controls were studied.
