Our portfolio work required us to study five materials. The work was done in a group of three. For the study of these materials, we gathered information as per instructions given to us. The study included conducting market study of the materials and obtain reliable data of statistics like embodied energy and current price of the material in its various forms. The information gathered was compiled into written reports, according to which presentations and posters were made for each material. The 5 materials studied were-1)STRUCTURAL STEEL, 2)BITUMEN FELT, 3)COARSE AGGREGATES, 4)CONCRETE BLOCKS, 5)POZZOLANA.
