In this semester, we studied lighting, daylighting and assessing building energy performance using simulations, and real building measurements. We have learned the theory and done exercises for experiential learning of CCT, CRI, and efficacy of light sources. We have a grasp of codes such as NBC, ECBC, and standards by IESNA for lighting and energy performance. In this semester, we have studied daylighting concepts, strategies, controls and shading for improving daylighting in the building. We are able to do physical measurements, simulations, and model calibration.  We have explored the implementation of ECBC for all systems, including lighting controls in detail.
