Quantity Surveying and Specifications

During my studio course, I understood the fundamentals and how quantity is calculated of various activities.We have developed basic understanding of on-site practices going in market and surveying for rates and also the requirements mentioned as per Indian Standards. From this course we have learned how quantity and rates are calculated for a project. We also came up with different rates from market and developed understanding of how variation in rates affect the project cost. After this course we take this knowledge gained for higher semesters and better understanding of further courses and project trainings.
