The intention of Foundation Studio II was to develope an artists' retreat at Aalloa through a series of exercises each of which in a way helped in the development of the design.The programmatic parts were  Arrival Lounge, Single Residencies, Double Residencies, Dining, Kitchen, Sculpting Workshop, Painting Workshop and a Multifunctional Space.11 artists from different places would stay and work together exploring their intereests in art.
