The design approach in this studio was highly inspired by the existing landscapes of two very contrasting sites. From Designing a guesthouse for astronomers on the rocky and undulating terrains of Udaipur, to designing a guesthouse for scientists on the heavily wooded flat land of Kamatibaug ,Baroda,this studio provided us to response to the immediate context in a way that our designs talk to their respective surrounding landscapes.The final outcome is a result of a process of imagining and developing a design in response to landscape.
