Informing this urban design exercise in support for potential redevelopment at Sector 11, Gandhinagar is the analysis of the site and its surrounding urban context, both at the regional and local scales. Under this, supporting a urban design proposal, considerations have been given to the likely change to the area in regard to new employment and residential densities and the likely need for improved identity of sector 11 as civic place.
