What is a POD HOTEL? A pod is an enclosed shell or a self - contained unit having a particular function. Pod hotel (capsule hotel) was initially introduced in Japan featuring a large number of extremely small rooms intended to provide cheap, basic, overnight accommodation for guests who did not require or couldn't afford the services offered by the conventional hotels.  What does the SITE offer?The site is located in the upper-middle-class neighborhood of Paldi area of the city. The site offers immense open space, some closed spaces and few semi-open spaces, created by the different arched ways, of varying volumes.
