Water Supply Management In Sarkhej Ward

Sarkhej ward being added in the corporation limits in year 2006. Before that it was outside the boundaries of Ahmedabad and was considered as a village. As and when it was added its boundaries got altered in 2014 some area was excluded and some other was included. When such alterations come in the boundaries there is generally a change of water supply patterns some WDS goes out of the boundary but supply water inside the boundary. and vice versa for the WDS that comes in the newly added boundary. In Sarkhej much of the population is served by bore wells. Around 2000 tankers are required in a day. So, there is a need to manage the water supply with service level benchmarks and compare it with standards.
