The Master Plan of 2036 for Rajkot was developed to be robust considering the main components of planning like Transportation, Zoning & Regulations, Housing, Infrastructure, Housing, Special Projects, Costing & Phasing. Meeting with the RMC officials and site visits to Rajkot helped understand on ground condition and stakeholders perspective. The whole exercise was broken down into several iterations and done by a group of 4 students. Housing and Special Projects were my focus components. Finally a comparative  study of the past DP's with our proposal helped us understand the evolution of the city's fabric over a period of time.
