The Development Plan of Rajkot is prepared for the year 2036. The agenda of the studio was to develop core competencies in making a Development Plan. The Development Plan includes integrated proposals for land use, transport, housing, infrastructure, and environment to achieve the long-term goals. In the process, various approaches and tools like zoning and regulations were explored. Various development models were explored through scenario building exercises and iterative approach. The Development Plan has taken the 'LIBERAL' Approach.
