The Rajkot Development Plan has been made taking 2036 as the horizon year. Existing situation analysis had been done and a long-term vision had been envisaged. Based on the study of trends observed in the development of Rajkot, various proposals have been laid out. These proposals include Transportation, Zoning & Development Control Regulations (DCR), Infrastructure, Housing and Special Projects, which were later on compiled into a Development Plan along with the Costing, Financing and Phasing of the Development Plan. The plan was later on assessed with respect to the Development Plan for 2031 given by Rajkot Urban Development Authority (RUDA).
