Project consists of a G + 12 residential building located in seismic zone 4. Initial structural system was prepared for the given architectural plan and static analysis was carried out for that system as per IS-1893:2016. After performing the static analysis the story drift and the torsion irregularity was to be checked. The initial system was torsionally irregular, so changes were made in structural system. For the final structural system prepared, the dynamic analysis was carried out and comparison of results was done with results of static analysis.
