The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) has created a new residential affordable housing zone around 1 km of S.P Ring Road to boast affordable housing. To improve connectivity and prevent traffic congestion, AUDA has proposed 6 flyovers and underpasses on S.P Ring Road. The flyovers will come at several junctions including Bopal, Naroda, Bhadaj, Odhav, Sanathal and Onganaj. The intersection on S.P Ring Road and Odhav junction is one of the critical locations that carry a high volume of traffic.
