A brief exploration into the modalities of conservation.

In this course, modules include recording and representing historic built environments. To develop knowledge of various tools of documentation and analyze and interpret historic sites. Assess values of various elements and aspects contributing to its significance and properties of historic building materials, their life cycles and properties of deterioration as well as selecting compatible materials for repair or replacement. Exposure to ethics of site engagement through practical engagement, in a way as to recall them appropriately during interventions.
