Interpretation centre and research centre at Dholavira

The given site is 38685 sq. m. area next to excavated site of Dholavira, 250 km from Bhuj, Kutch. The intent was to design an archaeological research centre to prevent the excavation site and also to study and understand the ancient civilisation, and an interpretation centre to communicate this understanding to the contemporary world.An interpretation centre is an institution for dissemination of knowledge of natural or cultural heritage. The building and layout also needs connection with existing site and its language.The design should also respect the climatic and topographical condition of the site. And building needs to be sustainable on its own.
