Integrating Levels of Built-open Space Relationships

The aim of the project is to GENERATE a compact neighbourhood for the given site of Calico Mills, Jamalpur, Ahmedabad. Existing site is analysed to QUANTIFY the qualitative aspect of the space by using different computational methods and mapping tools. Considering issues and needs on site, the analysed data is further compared with the standards* to come up with COMPUTATIONALLY GENERATED DESIGN SOLUTIONS. The core idea of the project is to integrate different levels of built-open space relationships such that it emphasises on micro-macro scale human activities, responding both socio-culturally and climatically to the unique character of the site.
