Efficient waste transportation to the landfill

The project forms one of the eight, proposed for a better solid waste management (SWM) in the city of Vadodara. This project identifies the importance of secondary infrastructure in SWM and focuses on improving the efficiency of the waste transported from the transfer station to the landfill. The project aims to achieve reduced carbon emissions as well as reduced magnitude of garbage to be disposed. The indirect benefits will be in terms of better environmental conditions. This carbon offset can be utilised in carbon trading and help mitigate the larger issue of global warming.
