STEEL DESIGN

Course includes various areas regarding design of steel structures, where starting from basic material properties and behaviour under forces. It includes two main project of steel truss for industrial structure and steel beam grid for floor of selected building. Both of these project were given in group which includes calculation of forces, selection of appropriate member and connection of members. During this course manual calculation of forces and design are taught which are recommended by Indian standards and also the software based calculations done in STAAD Pro.
