Weaving the narrative of the island city through Historical contextualization  • Re-imagining the CITY MUSEUM in Mumbai today while respecting it’s history.  • Understanding the colonial intent behind the design of the Victoria and Albert City Museum  • Breaking the masses of the museum extension to contest this symbol of power 
 The qualitative history of the city’s growth and important events are quantified into a timeline which is then translated as floor spaces for different clusters. Different clusters represent different time periods of the timeline and hence have different intensities.  These essences are abstracted through the design.
