The studio helped us with a very good understanding about the riverfront and various perspectives of the river was opened out that gave further clarity of the existing and helped us think of the next stage of developments and proposals along the stretch. From the understandings: This linear strip of development has created a series of boundaries that finally disappers into the city. The monotonous nature of the river has to be broken down at certain places to bring more people at specific locations creating nodes. The sabarmati riverfront project has allowed the city to move into the river, and the same has to be reversed by allowing the river to move into the city to create more oportunities and to increase the land value.
