Threshold - Point of contact between inside and outside
- In Fatehpur Sikri there are series of thresholds which acts in permutation combination in form of void and solid space - It is a continuous entity - System of reverse threshold (threshold can be both) - Built acts as a threshold to unbuilt spaces simultaneously unbuilt acts an a threshold to built pockets - Space within a space - Undefined and unrecognized distinction - Built has a linear form - in proportion of built and open, open is far more still very deliberate - Degree of enclosure which is happening in terms of scales and volumes
Parallel life – Idea of end and start
- Start point is same but progression to series of ends – direst or bifurcated - Fact of time – time span exists at same spot
- Idea were threshold being the destination and the destination being the threshold - Systems laid one over the other the other and through the gap another system coming up - Idea of threshold is folding out and folding up -Voids or the spaces in between act as threshold
