WATER TANK TOWER AT SCIENCE MUSEUM

This desgin explores the hidden potential of a Tower by creating a monotonous journey on foot but exciting for the eyes to ultimately offer a bed of grass to lie down and look at the sky.The RCC Tank situates itself betwen the old and the new connecting the two brick and RCC structures with a filigree like metal staircase. The structure consists of three hollow brick walls that are bound by a RCC beam and a RCC flat slab once at floor. While climbing, just when one would want to stop and take a look outside the opening between the walls, a seat has been provided thus letting the user interact with the entire building. This Design states that the Water tank Tower is more than a functional necessity but it is an experience that adds to the knowledge one gains in the Science Museum.
