unboxed by Faber-Castell

WHAT ? A prototype for Faber-Castell’s flagship store housing its complete range of products.  WHY ?   FABER-CASTELL can showcase its wide range of products highlighting its superiority in product quality as well as communicate its focus on Sustainability, Originality (true colours) and Safety (non-toxicity). The store can become a destination to “unbox” creativity and become a location for hands-on product experience enabling better selection process to ensure higher satisfaction levels in the customers. WHERE ? The proposed prototype is envisaged to be housed in a structure that is in constant connection with nature allowing one to feel inspired and located in proximity of academic institutions offering design and art curriculums.  HOW ? Create a customer-centric experience while capitalizing on the natural elements surrounding the building such that: • various zones are created keeping in mind different categories of target audiences expected to walk into the store • each zone would carry out a combination of activities - trial of products, inspirational displays and product display for ease of shopping process • Installation Art shall become focal point for highlighting salient features of the products • transparent exterior surfaces also allow for a peek inside the store from outside
