Exploration of a sheet metal chair, aiming to be lightweight, with slopes in the seat for comfort. A study of Nakashima grass seated chair gave me an insight about the manufacturing, structure, and relation of two different materials, joinery, and the value of high precision. 
Initially, I was looking at metal sections like rod, square sections to make my chair. But then there is a lot of potential for creating sheet metal furniture. Which could be explored. Bending the sheet metal increases its strength as it increases the cross-section of the component.Inclining the legs of the chair for transferring load.
