Interior Environments and Systems- Palatial Retreat

The studio will require the students to learn integration of old and new environments through systems, keeping in view the historic, cultural and other contextual parameters.
The students will undertake a detailed study of the given palatial space and analyze the same with a holistic approach. The systems approach stands on an assumption of breaking down of complex concept into single easy to understand unit and each unit is further understand each unit in its totality.
The holistic analysis would be a platform for drawing from the past and interpreting the same to achieve modern Contemporary spatial expressions.
The students will construct these expressions within the programmatically defined brief to suit the given space. These spatial expressions as final outcomes will be complete interior space interventions.
