The studio begins with study of development model of cities that helps in understanding the different models of preparing a micro level plan and its statutory context and their finance mechanism. Then the primary and secondary analysis helps in understanding the on site condition and the multiple site visits and stakeholder consultations provides us to understand the area and context and its opportunities and constraints. The multiple iteration of the LAP studio helps us to envision the character, Urban environment and Built form of the area. As the site have diverse character in them, it gives us a platform to think out of the regular LAP process. The overall studio helps in understanding the process of making an Local Area Plan integrating the various developments like Conservation, Streetscape, Redevelopment and Parking plan, by deriving the implementation mechanism to implement and their financing modules.
