The Urban expansion and regeneration studio – Monsoon 2019, aimed at exploring micro level planning mechanism and applying them on Hathijan and Greatnagar on the fringe of Ahmedabad city. The studio began with studying plan implementations mechanisms in Indian and at global level. Micro level plan is an important tool to successfully implement macro level plans like Development plan and Master plan. Town planning scheme is one of the crucial land readjustment mechanism which aims at balanced development by regularizing urban growth and fair distribution of infrastructure & services.
