Kalupur Local Area Plan

The portfolio is a part of 3rd semester studio in Master of Urban Planning. The studio focuses on micro-level planning in a brownfield area requiring an in-depth understanding of the land, real estate, environment, infrastructure, cost, and recovery. Further touching upon the contemporary statutory and non-statutory planning mechanisms. The portfolio first explores the city of Masdar, the zero-carbon city of Abu Dhabi. Hereafter, the focus moves to the brownfield site incorporating the heritage city of Ahmedabad, the proposed TOD and the railway station: within an area of 0.69 sq.km.
