Local Area Plan for Bopal, Ahmedabad

The project describes LAP as a micro-level surgery tool to regenerate intensely urbanized areas. Bopal is located on the fringes of Ahmedabad city, yet it faces the common problem of urban degradation. This Microlevel planning requires a detailed understanding of different layers including land, real estate, environment, transport, infrastructure, cost, and recovery, etc. The success of these plans depends on identifying the right type of development model and mechanisms using them in the right manner.
