Kalupur is located in the Ahmedabad walled city . The walled city has been recognized as the UNESCO world heritage site, owing to the numerous heritage structures and the rich history found within the walled city. In the Studio, Urban Expansion and Regeneration, monsoon semester 2019, an attempt was made to understand, analyze and propose land development models in a manner that enhances and improves the Imageability of the heritage site, without compromising on the needs of the residents. The introductory chapter deals with understanding of the land development model in case of Delhi, while following chapter detail out the studies, analysis, interpretations and interventions made in order to further develop the area and maintain the character of the site.
