Passive Comfort Lab

The Passive comfort lab studio was about developing understanding concepts passive strategies for application in the buildings with an aim to understand the interaction of different parameters at play reduce energy consumption in buildings. The concepts of building physics were learnt which were then applied to design, build and test a solar cooker and analogy was drawn with building envelope. Further simulation was done on design builder software to carry out parametric analysis of envelope level energy conservation measures, also Life cycle cost analysis for the same were done to study the economic affect of the ECMs applied.
