Passive Comfort Lab

The passive comfort lab studio developed the basics of environmental parameters through the evaluation of location of weather station exercise. Then we understood the building physics with the analogy of solar cooker in which we learnt the basics of heat transfer. Applying this principles we made our own prototype of solar cooker. Parameters affecting thermal comfort were learnt and on site on field survey was carried to assess the thermal comfort within CEPT. Through building simulation,  parametric study was carried out to see effect on EPI, cooling load etc. Life cycle cost were studied to check economic viability of project.
