This course introduces the limit state design of RCC structural elements for buildings.The course covers the design and detailing of structural elements such as slabs, beams, columns and footings under gravity loads for a multi storied RCC frame structure and introduces behavior of the structures under lateral loading. The students will work in groups and furnish structural drawings and design for a G+4 RCC frame structure as part of the coursework.
