The concept is to form an enclosure for the sedimentation tank to highlight the traditional water harvesting system of Alwar and thereby reviving it. The project here aims to have a compact footprint where the mass rises mainly on the south and he west side to block the harsh heat, thus responding to the semi-arid climate of Alwar. Taking the steps of the kund further, the movement is also articulated along the edges, which looks into the kund. The main enclosure is the L-shaped wall. The porosity increases in the built in the upper floors.
