Lakshita Munjal

I’m Lakshita Munjal, a 6th semester student at the School of Architecture. The studio ‘ Designing with people’ dealt with the process of co-production; with Mandvi-ni pol as the site.
The following is a compilation of my work done during the semester; summarizing my interaction with the people of the pol, and how my research question develops into the design intervention.
Design Strategy: Creating user interfaces at hot-spots, promoting an exchange of knowledge and skills among mothers. 
 Design Aim: Creating a system of proactive occupation that will support the mothers and children of Mandvi-ni-pol through multiple temporary units promoting mutual learning.
 Design Tactic: Constructing a system of temporary infrastructure to allow women of the pol to meet and work together, while their children are busy playing with each other in the same space.
