Incipient Inserts

The project underlines the relationship of man with nature and the nature-culture interface which in seen here in the form attitudes towards the land/homeland. People and natural systems of a place cannot be seen in isolation. They share inter-dependencies and the life patterns of these villagers within these systems are defining the sense of territories and as a whole forming the notions of ‘homeland’ The base idea of the project is to initiate an idea or a new thought as an experiment and superimpose it over the existing systems that prevail. The focus here is to experiment through meanings that are built through the inherent attitudes towards the land on which they dwell. Multiple scale inserts which are demonstrable that can be embedded with the context and allowed to morph which might lead to achieve unexpected outcomes. Each inserts shall have a different nature and the impact seen would be on social, cultural, economical and ecological grounds. It is an idea to adapt and associate to newer meanings evolved from the traces of the existing.
