A homeland is a native place, where people and landscape together evolves and changes with time. In this process of evolution, the land tends to nurture the scars on its skin. The idea is to understand these and try to initiate and accelerate the healing process allowing nature to take over, through ecological restoration. One of the scars is identified to be healed is the of sand mining patches. An affected area due to this is the riparian corridor. The project aims to demonstrate the long-term process of restoration and a riparian corridor at one such island in the river.
