Architectural Conservation: FA and Admin Block at CEPT

The aim of the Architectural Conservation studio was to have an understanding of various technical, design and management aspects of built heritage conservation to be able to develop a well informed conservation proposal for a historic site. The site given was the FA and Administration building at CEPT University, which is the oldest building of the Campus. The methodology applied was as follows:
1) Documentation of the Building 
a) Archival Research and Understanding the Historyb) Recording and Measured Drawings 
2) Understanding the Cultural Significance and Values 
3) Understanding the Issues through Condition Assessment 
4) Conservation Approach and Interventions (Structural and Design)
