Architectural Conservation - Old Stock Exchange Building

A 93-year-old Stock exchange building of British Victorian style with the intense aesthetic quality of stone carved ornate details on the facade strongly connected to the busy streets of Manek Chowk is a symbol of economic development which reminds the bullion trend of trading of stocks which once had heavy footfall. The aim of the project was to understand the significance of heritage asset and propose relevant solutions to prolong the life of the asset. To study the significance by understanding the elements, structure, usage of the space and association with the people around and to investigate the existing condition of the building in order to take steps for safeguarding further deterioration.
