South Bopal, far from the city center of Ahmedabad is a new developing neighborhood. Densely populated with people it’s a neighborhood filled with mundane high-rise towers and less open space for people to gather and socialize. It lacks an identity. Most of the Education centres, Art galleries, Auditoriums are located within the heart of the city making it difficult for the residents of south bopal to access these facilities because of the distance they have to commute. Therefore this community center located at the centre of south bopal will help people of all age groups specially younger generations for their social and cultural and educational upliftment. I Believe the Centre will be a node holding different planes together – Arts, Science and Culture together where people specially students can learn about various disciplines in a very informal and interactive manner. It aims to encourage students to think, explore and create. A mix of functions for different age groups specially for younger generations will add a new dynamism into the new neighborhood. It will also bring people from all age groups together.
