The focus of the studio was to explore three materials - bamboo, steel, and timber, to understand their structural potential. The learnings from this were taken forward to develop a concept for a joinery, which translated to a module that was repeated to form a structure. Here, the concept was to stabilize a system by mutually balancing the thrust of curves.  To understand the behavior of the system, a prototype of the final design was made in true scale and materials.
