Craft + Future = Glocal

India has nearly 3,000 Crafts as old as Indian civilization itself, and are an embodiment of India’s intellectual and aesthetic properties. But due to Globalization the craft skills are vanishing. They have the potential to be revived, adapting existing skills to suit both traditional and modern needs. This project focuses on the possibilities of craft being "Glocal" which will be evolved & abstracted with time. these in-turn become an element of nostalgia, experienced by the visceral senses.
