The design problem was to design a weekend getaway structure for four friends on the given site. The site given was a farm in the village, Mehlej, located in Gujarat. The efficiency of the design was based on how compact we could make it under the given budget. After a market survey of materials, we decided upon wood as an appropriate material for construction. The second half of the semester was spent on making one of the designs on the site in real scale. A team of 10 students worked together on detailing out the design and constructing it onsite.
